Triton Hearing is proud to partner with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Foundation to improve hearing health across New Zealand. Together, we provide nationwide hearing screenings and education for people experiencing hearing loss, helping ensure more New Zealanders have access to early detection, expert support, and trusted information about protecting their hearing. Through this partnership, we are making a meaningful difference in communities across the country.

One of the partnership’s key initiatives, the Year 9 School Screening Programme, has already reached more than 40,000 students, helping identify abnormal hearing results and early signs of tinnitus. During Hearing Awareness Month, Triton donates $1 to the Foundation for every hearing check completed, directly supporting community outreach and school programmes. In addition, initiatives such as “Make Listening Safe” and “The Hearing Accredited Workplace” help educate workers and students about preventing permanent noise-induced hearing loss and protecting their hearing for the future.

Triton Hearing is proud to partner with Iwi to provide accessible hearing care and solutions for registered members⁺⁺. Our partnerships with Waikato-Tainui, Te Kāhui o Taranaki Iwi, Ngāti Mākino, and Tūwharetoa mai Kawerau ki te Tai Settlement Trust focus on providing specialised support for those experiencing hearing loss. For Māori, hearing well is essential not only for daily communication but also for maintaining cultural connections, participating in whānau and community life, and passing on language and traditions to future generations.

Through these partnerships, eligible Iwi members can access hearing consultations and support toward the cost of hearing aids, thanks to the combined contributions of Iwi Hauora grants, Triton Hearing contribution towards hearing devices and aftercare, and relevant government subsidies. These partnerships go beyond simply providing hearing devices, Iwi members receive audiology consultations, expert hearing aid fittings, and ongoing care backed by our Better Hearing Guarantee, providing the ability to fully participate in both community and cultural life.
