When you purchase your hearing aids from Triton Hearing, you can be confident that all costs associated with your devices are covered in the purchase (or subscription) price as part of our Better Hearing Guarantee** commitment to you, which includes Lifetime Care** and Support among other great benefits! All New Zealand citizens and permanent residents over the age of 16 years with hearing loss are entitled to a Government subsidy of $1,022.22 towards a pair of hearing aids every six years. There are also other forms of funding, such as fully funded devices through ACC. See below for more. Your Triton Hearing Care Professional will be happy to take you through your options. Funding Options
When navigating through the different types of hearing aid funding, it can be challenging to know where to begin. Triton Hearing is an approved healthcare provider. As part of our Better Hearing Guarantee**, we advise on different funding options and subsidies available to you, making it easier to purchase your hearing aids. Our experienced staff are knowledgeable and happy to help! The most common funding option is the Ministry of Health subsidy scheme, which is available every six years. The only criteria required are that you are a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident and are over the age of 16. Other common funding types are ACC, which we can provide fully funded devices, Veterans' Affairs, and others.
